Find Password in Windows 10

1. Use the Windows search bar in the left corner and type Control Panel and hit Enter button.

2. Click on User Accounts>Credential Manager.


3. Now, you will find the two options here: Web Credentials and Windows Credentials.

Web Credentials

Under Web Credentials, you can find the passwords you use to log in to various websites. Windows Credentials hosts the rest of your logins on the computer.

Find the account you want to search and once you find the account you were looking for, click on the arrow on the right.  

In the drop-down tab, click Show next to password. If you’ve set up the screen lock on Windows, then you will be asked to enter your administrator or screen password and it will show you the password.

Find Password in Mac 

On Mac, Keychain access manages all the passwords in the Mac and keeps them secure. Keychain comes pre-installed on your computer and helps you to access or log into your account automatically. Because Keychain Access stores all of your password , there is also the place where you can view saved password on your Mac. Here, we will learn how you can view your saved passwords in Keychain Access. 

1. First of all, open the Finder Windows and go to Application>Utilities. 

2. Open Keychain Access. 

3. In the search bar in the top right corner, search for the password you’re looking for. 

4. It’s best to search for the same of the website or app whose password you want to see. Once you find the password, view it with a double-click.


5. Check the box next to Show Password. A pop-up window will appear asking you to password you use when logging onto your computer and click Allow for one-time access.

6. The password appears in the Password field at the bottom of the pop-up window.

Find Password on Google Chrome

You visit various websites online or login credentials for online accounts, but what if you forget the password of your online accounts, not able to access them now. Fortunately, Google Chrome does it for you. Whenever you enter any password online, chrome ask you to remember or save the password. You can save your password into chrome and it can automatically sync the websites you visit. Additionally, you can directly enter your password with the help of synchronization. You don’t need to remember the password. 

Follow the steps to find saved password on Google chrome.

1. First of all, open the Chrome on your browser and click on three dots appearing on the top left corner of the screen. Doing so will open the option for you.

2. From the option, click on Settings; second or third option from the bottom down.  

3. Once you click on Settings, it will take you to the chrome setting page.

4. Scroll down, and click on Password option and all the password will open in front of you. Now, you need to select the website or account of which you want to know the password, and click on the side eye icon.


5. You will be then asked to enter your password. If you’ve set up the screen lock on Windows, then you will be asked to enter your administrator or screen password and it will show you the password. 

Find Password on iPhone 

If you’re an iPhone user and want to find the password on your iPhone, you can use Siri to view your password by saying something like “Hey Siri, show my passwords.” If you’re looking for the password to a specific app or website, you can also ask Siri. Follow the steps to find passwords on iPhone:

1. First of all, click Settings and then select Passwords. If you’re using iOS 13 earlier, select Passwords & Accounts, then tab Website & App Passwords.

2. Use Face ID or Touch ID when prompted, or enter your passcode. Select the website or account and see a password. 

3. Here, you can see a password and also edit them easily.

Find Password on Android 

Follow the below-mentioned steps to find a password on your android phone.

1. On your android phone, open the Chrome app and go to the site you’ve visited before.

2. To the right of the address bar, tab More  

3. Now, click on the Settings and click on Passwords.

4. Select the item of which you want to know the password and click View to see the password.
