3. Now, click “Login & Security” – the second option on the “Your Account” section. You will be asked now to sign into your account again to verify your identity.

How to Change Amazon Password (Seller)

If you’re dealing as a seller on Amazon, then cannot change your Amazon seller account password through the above steps. You can change the Seller Central Account password from the sellercentral page. 

1. First of all, visit Seller Central on your web browser and click on the “Log In” option at the top near to the “Start Selling” option.  Use your email id or phone numbers and password of your accounts in order to log into your seller account.

2. Once you’re logged into your account, click on the “Seller Central” at the top. Doing so will open the options menu.

3. From the menu options, select “Settings”> “Login Settings” and click the “Change” or “Edit” button to the right of “Password Settings.” 

4. Now, you need to enter your current password in the “Old Password” field.

Note: Make sure you enter the correct password, because if you enter the wrong password, you will be logged off as a security precaution.

5. Now, enter the new password you want to use in the “New Password” field. Again, enter the new password in the “Re-enter Password” field. 

6. Now, click the “Submit” button and you’re done. Log out your account and login back using your new password.

1. First of all, Visit Amazon Password Assistance page on your web browser. 

2. On this page, you’ll be asked to enter your email address or phone number associated with your account.

Note: In case, you no longer use the email-or not able to access the email or phone number associated with your Amazon account, you may visit Customer Support and follow the steps for restoring access to your account.

3. Once you entered the email address or phone number associated with your account, then Amazon will send you a code on the email or text code on the phone number to verify your account. 

4. Enter that code in the provided field and you will be redirected to the password page. Make sure you entered the correct code.

5. Now, enter the new password in the first field and enter again the same password again in the text field to confirm that entered new password is correct. Make sure the entered password should be at least 8 characters.

Note: Amazon requests you not to use the previously used password with Amazon again.

6. Once you’re done with the password, hit the yellow long button that says “Save changes & sign in.” Doing so will save the changes you made and brings you back on the Amazon sign-in screen.
